How it works
- 01Preliminary information: the goods, origin and delivery terms are confirmed.
- 02Documents are collected and checked.
- 03The declaration is lodged; any inspection is followed up.
- 04Duties and taxes are paid, the goods are released and dispatched for delivery.
Documents usually required
- Commercial invoice
- Packing list
- Transport document: CMR, bill of lading (B/L) or air waybill (AWB)
- Origin and movement certificates: certificate of origin, A.TR, EUR.1
- Permits and conformity certificates, depending on the goods
The documents required depend on the type of goods, their origin and the customs procedure; we will draw up the exact list for your file.
Frequently asked questions
How long does customs clearance take?+
It depends on the type of goods, whether the documents are complete, and the inspection lane the declaration is assigned to (green, yellow or red). When the documents are complete, we move the process forward without delay and keep you informed at every stage.
Can I find out the customs duties in advance?+
Yes. Once the HS code (GTİP), origin and value of the goods are known, we prepare a preliminary estimate of customs duty, VAT and any other charges that apply.
What happens if the shipment is selected for inspection?+
In the yellow lane the documents are checked; in the red lane the goods are physically inspected. We follow the inspection at the bonded warehouse and inform you of the outcome and the next step straight away.
Can I use your customs clearance service only?+
Yes. Even if you arrange transport yourself, we can provide customs clearance on its own; if you wish, we can add transport and delivery to the same file.
